Operation of @cosme comprehensive site for cosmetics and beauty

Launched in 2019, @cosme (Hong Kong) is the Hong Kong version of @cosme, Japan's largest cosmetics and beauty website that launched in 1999 and is used by a majority of women in their 20s and 30s in Japan.

@cosme (Hong Kong) has become a major cosmetics review site with 104,400 members, 27,500 registered cosmetics products, 70,400 reviews byHong Kong users (296,800 viewable reviews*), and over 230,000 monthly active users (all as of May 2024).

About 70% of the members of @cosme (Hong Kong) are women in the 20 to 35 age group, highly savvy about beauty as is the case with @cosme in Japan. @cosme (Hong Kong) carries reviews actively posted by users every day, as well as popular product rankings and beauty trend articles produced by the @cosme (Hong Kong) editorial team. The website launched its Best Cosmetics Awards in 2020 and opened an e-Commerce website in 2021, among other enhancements made year by year to improve usability and enrich content. Along with @cosme STORE, opened in 2018, @cosme (Hong Kong) has become a familiar presence for Hong Kong local consumers.
